There's no day quite like New Book Day, and I'm pleased to say that over the next couple of weeks I've got new & new-ish stuff hitting the shelves of bookstores...
First off, my latest Star Trek novel The Poisoned Chalice (book four in the ongoing The Fall miniseries) is apparently out in the wild - folks are reporting it on sale in early here in the UK as well as Australia and the USA. And if that's not enough, my Warhammer 40,000 short story "The Returned" (featuring the Doom Eagles) is reappearing in the new ominbus anthology There Is Only War, due out in time to make an excellent Christmas gift for anyone who is a fan of the Grim Dark Future Where There Is... Well, you know how the rest goes. 41 stories, 992 pages, weighing in at just under half a kilo, the book can also double as an improvised weapon should your boltgun be out of reach.
